Personal Reflection

We learn in this class summary an article from a newspaper. In the summary we should put the main ideas because it includes the importance in the article. If people read the summary and compare between the summary and the main article. But what if we should leave out some parts in the article, like names of people, some cities and years. Summarizing make the big article to small summary with a lot of main information. What is difficult in summarizing is when the article doesn’t have a lot of important ideas but all of it data’s. Also we learned how to do research from websites about any subject that teacher give it to as to search information about it. Also we learned how to find references and we put it in the summary. I think this course is very important for all students because it’s teach you how to take main ideas from an essay or anything that’s more than 500 to 600 words , so it’s easier to read the summary and understand what the subject is about.
